Position Description:

Behavioral Informatix is looking for an experienced Product Manager who is passionate about building products that customers love. You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work with cross-functional teams to design, build and roll-out products that deliver the company’s vision and strategy. Working closely with executive management, you will: develop product pricing and positioning strategies; translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes; create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners; scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact; work closely with engineering teams to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resource utilization; gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth; drive product launches including working with public relations team, executives, and other product management team members; evaluate promotional plans to ensure that they are consistent with product line strategy and that the message is effectively conveyed; represent the company in front of customers to solicit feedback on company products and services.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or other related technical field; Specialization in speech and language technologies will be considered an asset
  • Experience: 3+ years in product management; Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle; Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management
  • Skills: Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies; Strong problem-solving skills and ‘doer’ mentality; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Ability to work with cross=functional teams to produce results

Sales & Business Development Manager

Position Description:

We are seeking a talented and motivated individual for the position of Sales & Business Development Manager. The incumbent, working with executive management, will be responsible for: identifying suitable prospect customers; initiating contacts; presenting our product portfolio and technology to high-level management and business owners; consulting customers on technological advances and decisions; maintaining relationships, and generally providing great service to our customers. Qualifications:

C/C++ Programmer

Position Description:

Behavioral Informatix is looking to expand its code base and build a demo system to showcase our many exciting technologies.  Candidate has the important job of taking code developed in MATLAB for research purposes and converting it to C/C++ code to be used in commercial applications and demos. Will work with Chief Technology Officer (CTO) on specific project requirements and be responsible for debugging and testing the code on real audio/video/physiological data. Candidate should be excited about working for a startup and should be passionate about writing code that is simple, readable, modular, efficient, and fast.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (or working toward) in computer science or related technical field
  • Experience: 1+ years in a similar position and/or significant programming coursework/experience
  • Skills: Expert general programming skills, C/C++, MATLAB, scripting languages (e.g., Perl, Python), comfortable programming in different environments (Linux, Windows, Mac)

Data Coding Coordinator

Position Description:

To test our hypotheses and train various computational models, data must be coded and labeled following the rigorous coding standards practiced in the behavioral/social sciences. Candidate has the important job of hiring, training, managing, and coordinating a team of data coders to label audio/video/physiological data for various projects. Candidate will act as the “head coder,” coding the data herself/himself, providing feedback to the other coders when questions come up, and resolving issues when ambiguities or problems arise.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree and currently pursuing Master’s or Ph.D. in psychology, sociology, or related field
  • Experience: 1+ years of coding data in a research setting (preferably audio/video data)
  • Skills: Excellent written/oral communication skills; ability to manage and motivate a team toward a common goal

Data Coder

Position Description:

We have a number of projects involving analyzing human audio/video/physiological data. To test hypotheses and train various computational models, this data must be coded and labeled following the rigorous coding standards practiced in the behavioral/social sciences. Candidate has the important job of labeling audio/video/physiological data for various projects and documenting any ambiguities or problems that may arise. Candidate will be trained by and report to the Data Coding Coordinator. Once training is complete, this position has flexible hours and can be completed from any private location with a secure Internet connection. In-person meetings with the Data Coding Coordinator may be required from time-to-time (for discussions on data issues and/or for re-training purposes).
